Earlier today Twin Shadow released the track ‘Changes’. Starting out as just a cover song on tour from an italian disco band called Bagarre, they decided to take it to the studio for a couple days before playing an LA show with Florence & The Machine. To Bagarre it was called ‘Circus is Gone’, to Twin Shadow its called ‘Changes’. Enjoy it! Keep up with Twin Shadow and download the track here.
Here is the original so you can get a picture of how much they did with it.
Made up of Cathal Cully, Neil Brogan, and Claire Miskimmin this 3-peice from Belfast released an album with Slumberland Records earlier this April. I haven’t listened to the entirety of the album yet but after peeping this video it’s definitely on my to do list. Get it here.
Until then watch this
It’s been a little while since we’ve heard some new things from Memoryhouse, but the wait was worth it. This EP is excellent! Some songs we have heard before are back but with a little spice and we got some new tracks to munch on as well. Get this EP! It’s right here along with its predecessors.
If that doesn’t do it for you here is a little visual for that.
And here is one of my favorite songs by them that isn’t on any of the EP’s so enjoy this as well.
For all you late night surfers browsing the web aimlessly here is a little somethin’ somethin’ to keep your evening from being completely worthless. A better collaboration honestly could not have been done. With the musical stylings of James Blake and the lovely vocals of Bon Iver, it is our pleasure to show you “Fall Creek Boys Choir”. ENJOY.
Look, I know its officially Friday now but this mixtape is worth mentioning any day of the week. As of yesterday the Weeknd dropped their follow up mixtape to House of Balloons. Yesterday was my last day with Ty for the next 2 years. He was like a brother to me and everyone else here at neighborhoodbrains. In his memory I feel it is only right to post a few songs that remind of us of the good times spent with one another. We love you, good luck friend, and be safe. We’ll see you in two.
